CHEMISEPT HF is a ready-to-use, colourless ethanol- and chlorhexidine-based solution for preoperative skin antisepsis and disinfection of non-invasive medical devices.

Properties

Contains 2% chlorhexidine digluconate for long-lasting antimicrobial activity. It has bactericidal activity, including against MRSA, mycobactericidal activity, including Mycobacterium avium and M. terrae, and yeasticidal activity. It is active against HBV, HIV, HCV, BVDV, Vaccinia and Rota viruses.

Field of application

Suitable for hospitals and other medical institutions, preoperative skin antisepsis and treatment of non-invasive medical devices. Its colourless composition is also suitable for cosmetic procedures.

Directions for use

Spray the ready-to-use product on the skin or apply it with a single-use cloth or swab. For preoperative treatment, thoroughly wet the skin and let it dry; carry out the treatment twice for 45 seconds.
