CHEMISEPT G COLOR is an ethanol-based, orange-coloured skin antiseptic for preoperative skin antisepsis. The colourant helps visualise the treated skin area.

Efficacy

The product has bactericidal, tuberculocidal, including against Mycobacterium terrae, virucidal and yeasticidal activity. It is effective against HBV, HIV, HCV, Vaccinia, Herpes simplex, Rota and Adeno viruses. After use, the product maintains an environment unsuitable for microbial growth for at least 3 hours.

Field of application

For hospitals and other medical institutions: preoperative skin antisepsis, skin antisepsis before surgical procedures, cannulation and catheterisation.

Directions for use

The ready-to-use product is applied to the skin using a soaked swab. For preoperative skin antisepsis, thoroughly wet the area and allow it to dry; carry out the procedure twice for 1.5 minutes each, for a total contact time of 3 minutes. Incision film may be applied only to dry skin.
