CHEMIHYD DES is a ready-to-use, aldehyde-based solution for high-level disinfection of medical instruments and endoscopes. It requires neither dilution nor an activator.

Intended use

Suitable for thermolabile and thermostable instruments, including flexible and rigid endoscopes, optical and surgical instruments, bronchoscopes, laryngoscopes, biopsy forceps, intubation and aspiration tubes, laboratory vessels and dental instruments.

Efficacy

• bactericidal, including MRSA;
• mycobactericidal, including M. avium and M. terrae;
• yeasticidal;
• effective against enveloped viruses, including HBV, HIV, HCV and Vaccinia;
• sporicidal, including C. difficile.

Directions for use

Clean and disassemble instruments before disinfection. Fully immerse them in the solution, ensuring all surfaces and channels are covered. After the contact time, rinse thoroughly and dry. Do not use amine-based products before or after treatment.
